A wonky elephant on a wonky rampage!  

Being able to knock around objects in the scene is one of the top benefits of a physics-based-animation system like this.  Obstacles also naturally impede motion, so creatures getting stuck or stumbling as they push stuff around is a big bonus.

WONTOBER #11 - a Wonkephant.  

Need several creatures to represent multiple body shapes and leg counts.  Hopefully this’ll help me craft a balance and walking scheme that works with lots of different animals.  More to come!

Game Jam: MONK BONK

Built this goofy game from scratch in 48 hours with a small team for the Ludum Dare 32 jam.  We didn’t get a chance to share it much after release, but we sure played a lot of it, and overall it’s pretty fun.

You play a priest wielding a cross-shaped-scepter, 30 seconds before the rapture.  You have exactly that much time to bonk the pious townspeople on the head, saving their souls before the world becomes flooded with hell-spawn.

The theme of the jam was “an unusual weapon”, and we thought it would be funny if you could wield religion, creating a little army of devote followers to fight off a demon horde. In the end, you get to watch the carnage unfold, and don’t lose until the last of your followers is dead.  Play it below!
